About Susan
Born: Corning, New York
Family: Husband Bill. Celebrated 39th anniversary.
Children: Melanie married with 2 children, Marcy, David, Tim.
First date: Susan and Bill met at a roller skating rink. Bill
had just gotten out of the Army and was visiting the rink as Susan
was there. Susan and her friends and church groups would frequent
the rink once a month. Bill and Susan soon began dating soon after
that chance meeting and then later married and made their first home
in El Paso, Texas where Bill worked as a Dale Carnegie course salesman.
Close enough: Susan was a step away from the platform with
John Krasinski and Johathan Pryce acting when she turned to the right.
Had she turned immediately to the left she may have bumped into George
Clooney.
Queen for a day
The special attention at wardrobe, hair and makeup made Susan Treat
feel like she was Queen for a day. I felt like a star with all
the attention. I felt just like I was in the movies, getting all made
up and thinking Im going to work today... They did a great
job in wardrobe. Seeing all the women in their stylish clothing made
me think I was back in another era.
My hair is shoulder length and I was a little hesitant getting
it cut. I kiddingly thought if it was awfully bad I would just shave
it. But some of the ladies and I liked the new style and we had fun
with it.
Susan got to be a passenger on the train and sat right behind John
Krasinski and Jonathan Pryce. They got off the train and were
being interviewed while standing on a platform.
Susan suggested her husband (Bill) join her for some fun trying out
for the movie. It was worth it trying to be in the movie with
George Clooney, Susan said. We had so much fun and enjoyed
seeing what went into making a movie. |
