Describe when you decided to appear at the casting call and your reaction to being selected. Did you dress up for a particular part?
I just happened to be watching the news on the day of the casting call and heard that it was at the mall. I looked at my boyfriend and said, “I’m going to do it!” I’ve wanted to be an actress ever since I was 11 years old and this was the first opportunity that I’ve ever had to go for it.

I colored my hair, got ready and showed up later on in the evening. I didn’t have any recent photos so the picture booth at the mall definitely came in handy. I filled out my application, turned it in and got the call two days later. I was so excited!

Who was your first call to and what was the conversation when you learned you were going to be in a George Clooney produced movie with the No. 1 male box office star?
I called my parents and we were all excited. I remember my mom saying, “You know you’re going to be dressed for the 1920’s, right?” I was like, “It doesn’t matter. They can dress me in whatever they want because I'm getting the chance to live my dream.”

What was your first experience like on the movie set? Was it what you expected?
It was a pure adrenaline rush for me the whole time I was there! Coming from a person that’s not a morning person, I was quick to get out of the bed and be on my way to the movie set each day.

What was the role(s) you were cast and describe what you did? Include how wardrobe dressed you.
I was a background extra who tried to get in as many scenes as possible. If they needed 10 people here, 20 people there or whatever the case was, I went for it....  working hard for the money and living the dream. I refer to myself in that costume as the “tootsie roll queen” because they had me dressed in different shades of brown from head to toe. It was a cute costume.

How close did you get to George Clooney?  Renee Zellwegger or other actors?
I was actually close to George on a few different occasions... like within a few feet. We had eye contact more than once. Yep, my heart was pounding and the butterflies were going but I hid it well.

What surprised you the most about how a movie was produced?
Everything they had to do just to shoot one scene!

Outside from your participation: What is the best memory you take away from your experience.
It was my first day on the movie set and we hadn’t been outside that long when a man standing behind me suddenly had a really bad seizure. He was on the ground at least 20-30 minutes. Within minutes, George was right there kneeling down beside the guy and he stayed with him the whole time until the ambulance got there. Then, he carried the man’s belongings to the ambulance. To me, that really said a lot about George... I mean, wow!

George Clooney is noted for making movies with people he has worked with before. Would you work with Clooney again if his company called you?
Absolutely. Not only is he a great actor, he is a beautiful person inside and out.

What would your response be?
With a high-pitched, really excited voice: Oh my gosh! Are you serious? Yes, yes!
