Leatherheads is my fifth movie, and I have worked with Julia Roberts, Jim Carrey, James Caan and Whoopi Goldberg.
When I went to the open cast call for Leatherheads, I asked Tona (Dalhquist) for a mailing address. I knew from going to many open cast calls that it was much smarter to mail in my headshot and resume than to leave it with the casting people that day. It always works -- within just a few weeks I was called and outfitted for the part of a game official.
I realized I was going to be filming during “tax season” but I never imagined I would end up going to four different locations.
Every day was a fun experience and, as usual, I met so many new friends that were also having a great time.
Now we are all looking forward to the premiere on April 4th, and we are coming to the party at 6:30 that night with five other couples from our neighborhood.
We will be chauffeured to all the festivities in a limousine that evening because the occasion demands star treatment, don’t you agree?
And if Mr. Clooney wants to make another movie in our area, I will absolutely be one of the very first people to sign up for another exciting role.
